Audiences forgive imperfect visuals and never forgive bad audio. A generated clip with clean voiceover, a music bed and three sound effects immediately reads as professional.
- Voiceover: text-to-speech with pacing punctuation — commas and ellipses control breath.
- Music: generate or license a bed; duck it 8-12 dB under the voice.
- SFX layers: ambience (room tone), spot effects (footsteps, doors), and transitions (whoosh, impact).
- Loudness: master to roughly -14 LUFS for web platforms.
| Layer | Typical level | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Voiceover | -6 dB peak | Always the loudest |
| Music bed | -18 dB | Duck under speech |
| Ambience | -24 dB | Continuous, glues shots |
| Spot SFX | -12 dB | On the frame of impact |
Continuous ambience across a cut is the single strongest trick for making unrelated AI clips feel like one location.
