Your capstone is a written trading plan you could hand to another person and have them trade it identically. Ambiguity is the enemy — every rule must be checkable.

  • Markets: which pairs and which sessions you trade.
  • Bias: how you decide direction (higher-timeframe structure).
  • Setup: the exact conditions required for entry.
  • Entry trigger: candle signal, retest or break confirmation.
  • Stop placement: structural level plus an ATR buffer.
  • Targets: fixed R multiple, partials and trailing rules.
  • Risk: percentage per trade, max open risk, daily loss limit.
  • Review: weekly journal review and monthly stats.

Then backtest at least 50 trades on historical data, forward-test on demo, and only then go live at minimum size.
